The Northport Golf Club was established in 1916. It is a classic nine hole, par 36 layout featuring some alternate teeing grounds for a full eighteen hole round. The course stay's well-maintained and is very walker friendly, with short distances from green to tee. If you like to warm up before your round, head down to the range or hit some putts on one of our two practice greens.
Northport always welcomes public play, with a friendly staff available to assist golfers of all skill levels. The Golf course is generally open for daily play except the following, Tuesday after 4:00, Wednesday late afternoons, and Sunday mornings till noon.













The club house includes a fully stocked pro shop, offering several lines of golf clubs, also men's and women's apparel, and golf caps.
The snack bar offers various beverages ranging from soft drinks to mixed drinks of your choice. Hamburgers, hotdog's, and sandwiches are offered from the kitchen. If you are looking for quick pick me up grab a snack off the snack rack.

Tournaments and Events
Scotch Foursome
This a mixed event (men and women's) which begins on Wednesday evenings at 5:15 p.m. Play is followed by a social, and a pot luck supper is held once a month.

Twilight League
Throughout the season Twilight is held on Tuesday afternoons. There is a first and second half, each running 9 weeks long. Play generally begins between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. Meals are offered each week for participants. Match play is the form of play with all skill levels being equalized with the use of handicaps.

Special Club Tournaments/Events
These are generally held on Sunday mornings and are concluded by mid-day. Events are as followed: Pro-ams, Ryder Cup (2 person), Member-Member (2 person best ball), Opening/Closing Scramble, Sayward Scramble, Lothrop Member-Guest, and the Northport Member-Guest (two day).
Club Championships
These include the Four Ball (2 person better ball), President's Cup (handicapped), Club Championship (flights), and Senior and Super Seniors Championships (handicapped). All are determined by match play rules and involve multiple elimination rounds of individual play to determine the ultimate champion. For the convenience of the participants individual matches are scheduled within a two-week period. All tournaments utilize handicaps (gross and net) except club championship.
